💠 Politics at breakfast without being political 💠
On 11 April 2025, we had the pleasure of hosting a Young Professionals Breakfast Talk at the beautiful Alkaff Mansion, a morning full of open conversations and thoughtful reflections.
Our guest speaker, Kathleen Van Brempt, Member of the European Parliament for Vooruit and Vice-President of the S&D Group, brought valuable insights on Europe’s global role. As Vice-President, she oversees International Trade, Development, Enlargement, and International Climate Diplomacy. She is also a full member of the newly established European Democracy Shield (EUDS) committee, underlining her commitment to safeguarding democratic values.
We explored how Europe can learn from Singapore’s exemplary governance, addressed the concerns of young professionals, and gained a deeper understanding of the European Parliament’s current focus and direction.
