Membership
Any and all terms of membership of the BLCC will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to any principles of conflicts of law.
BLCC does not refund membership fees if membership is cancelled before the end of the relevant term. Membership duration is valid for 365 days, except for Young Professionals membership, valid from day of registration (YP must be under 36 at this date) until the end of the running fiscal year (30th June).
Events
BLCC requires that participants pay in full upon registration. Failing to do so will automatically cancel the registration. No shows or cancellations will not be refunded.
Photography during events
Pictures might be taken during events. BLCC reserves the right to publish these on its website – http://www.blcc.org.sg and media pages (Facebook & LinkedIn). If you do not agree, participants have to inform the BLCC by handwriting before the event.
Miscellaneous
These terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to any principles of conflicts of law. You agree that any action at law or in equity that arises out of or relates to these terms will be filed only in courts located in Singapore, and you hereby consent and submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such action.
If any of these terms and conditions are found unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision will be considered severable from the remaining terms and conditions, and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions. What types of data do we collect and why?
The data you give us
Account creation form to the private area :
Email : Your email address will be your login to access your private area. In addition to this, it will allow us to contact you or send you our newsletter if you have expressed the wish to receive it. Indeed, we will send the newsletter to you by email only if you have given us your agreement, for example by subscribing to our newsletter.
Civility, Name / Surname, Country, Current position: This information allows us to know a bit more about you and for us to be able to send you personalized communications. In the form, these fields are not required to create a private area. You are free not to fill them if you do not wish.
Profile modification form on the private area :
Business Sectors & amp; Interests: This information allows us to know your interests better and send you relevant information or connections
Email: Your email allows us to communicate the different information about the event. For example, your confirmation of registration, reminders, a report of the event or a satisfaction questionnaire.
Name of your company, position: This information allows us to know more about your profile and why you are interested in our event. In addition, it is possible that certain events are reserved for a specific category of people, or addressed to a particular sector.
The data we collect from your journey on our site
We collect data about your journey on our website, this data allows us to optimize our content and improve your user experience. The recovered data is all anonymous and global, we do not get an IP address. They are obtained thanks to cookies that are deposited in your browser upon your arrival on our site.

The Members Directory
The business matching platform in our private area is strictly reserved for members of BLCC.
If you are a member of BLCC,
You can choose whether or not to appear in the directory as a contact. If you choose no, no mention of you will be published in the directory.
What are your rights?
Right of access
You can obtain from us a summary of the personal data that we have about you.
Please note that you will be asked to provide proof of your identity in order to obtain this information, and that in case of request for mailing, administrative costs will be your responsibility.
Right to rectify data
You have the right to obtain rectification of personal data about you if they are inaccurate. In addition, you have the right to have your incomplete personal data completed, by providing us with a supplementary declaration.
