"An inspiring morning at the BLCC Young Professionals Breakfast Talk!
Today, we had the pleasure of hearing from Charmaine Low, the founder of 'smol', who shared her incredible entrepreneurial journey.
She started with just a 9sqm space, making salads with a vision, and has since expanded to Paya Lebar Quarter, then Lau Pa Sat, and finally her current location at Paya Lebar.
What stood out most was not just her business growth, but her commitment to inclusivity—hiring individuals from minority groups and people with disabilities, creating a truly welcoming work environment.
As a female entrepreneur, she has faced and overcome many challenges, proving that perseverance and purpose can turn passion into success. Her employees that are 100% behind her and smol café & salad bar is what keeps her going, hoping to make each one's lives a little better every day.
Her story left us all motivated and inspired. Thank you, Charmaine Low, for sharing your journey with us!"
