This morning, BLCC Singapore members have the privilege of a customised experience at DHL Asia Pacific Innovation Centre, #DHLInnovation #DHLGlobalForwarding, one of the four global hubs, where advancements in logistics and supply chain innovation are explored.
After a warm welcome by Jynn Low, Head of Business Customers and Sales Support, Marianne Goh, Innovation Engagement Manager, shared with us the latest trends and solutions that are propelling the supply chain and logistics industry. In particular, she shared with us DHL Logistics Trend Radar 7.0, which was just unveiled 2 days ago. This is a biennial report that highlights the foremost social, business, and technological trends impacting the industry.
During the visit, our members had the opportunity to experience
a) wearing an EXO suit that helps to protect ones' back when carrying heavy items.
b) lifting and moving heavy objects (45kg to 60kg) with the assistance of TAWI.
We were also introduced to DHL Go family of sustainability programs that are designed to help make the world a better place and do it as effectively as possible.
