Immersive Facility Tour of Katoen Natie Singapore in Singapore Jurong Island

-

🎉 An impressive and immersive facility tour of Katoen Natie Singapore (23 October 2025) 🎉

Yesterday, BLCC Singapore had the privilege of bringing 27 members and guests to Katoen Natie Singapore, located on Jurong Island—a restricted-access hub for Singapore’s petrochemical industry. For many participants, including locals, this was their first time stepping onto Jurong Island, making the experience even more special. ✨

The visit began with a warm welcome and refreshments, followed by an insightful presentation from Koen Cardon, CEO of Katoen Natie. Koen shared his expert perspective on the chemical industry’s outlook and highlighted how Katoen Natie  is creating added value to its customers and digitalizing paperwork processes to drive efficiency and sustainability in logistics.

The facility tour was truly an eye-opener. Attendees explored Katoen Natie’s extensive warehouse network, witnessed high-speed packaging lines in action, and observed the precision of Autonomous Guided Vehicles (AGVs) navigating seamlessly across the site. These cutting-edge technologies showcased how automation and logistics excellence come together to shape the future of the industry.

A big thank you to Koen Cardon and the Katoen Natie team for hosting such an engaging and informative visit.

We also want thank Geert Van Brempt for organizing this visit with Katoen Natie and H.E. Severine De Potter for gracing the occasion.

It was an unforgettable experience for all attendees!
