The Economic Outlook 2024 was an informative and insightful overview of what is ahead in 2024.
Our distinguished speaker was Prashant (Pete) Bhayani (Chief Investment Officer, Asia at BNP Paribas Wealth Management), who is a highly accomplished professional who brings over 30 years of experience across asset classes in equity, fixed income, foreign exchange, and alternatives having worked in Asia, United Kingdom and the United States.
Prashant (Pete) Bhayani gave a good overview of the world economy (US, EU, China & Asia), expectations for 2024, interest rates predictions, unknowns and impacts of elections and geopolitical grey rhinos. He also covered the impact of big trends like AI and Sustainability.
After Prashant (Pete) Bhayani's presentation, there was a good variety of questions from an engaged audience and Prashant was able to provide his insights on the issues raised.
