Cross Chamber Networking I IWD2025 Accelerate Action for Gender Equality

🎉 Celebrating International Women's Day 2025: Accelerating Action for Gender Equality 🎉

Yesterday, we celebrated International Women's Day 2025 with a successful "Cross Chamber Networking I IWD 2025 Accelerate Action" event, bringing together women and men from 10 participating European Chambers.

Organized by BLCC Singapore and hosted by International French School (Singapore), members of the 10 participating chambers enjoyed refreshing welcome drinks and delicious food before an hour of engaging discussions.

The theme "Accelerate Action" emphasized the need for faster and more effective steps toward gender equality.  The members discussed and brainstormed on the following:

🔸 ways to accelerate progress towards closing the gender pay gap in their organization and industry

🔹 the role of education in challenging traditional gender roles and promoting equality

🔸 strategies which they can implement to promote women's leadership and career advancement in the workplace

🔹 the initiatives they can launch to support women's entrepreneurship and business development

The vibrant discussion highlighted the importance of individual and collective action in accelerating gender equality. The members gained valuable insights as they shared their personal and professional experience and brainstormed ideas to accelerate actions and inspire others to take actions.
