Join us in celebrating the success of the recent Voka Oost-Vlaanderen delegation visit to Singapore! On Tuesday, February 7th, the delegation was welcomed with a reception hosted by Mr. Anand Sachdev, Managing Director and Country Head of ING APAC in Singapore, at the beautiful ING premises.
The visit was part of a larger Technology Mission, aimed at exploring opportunities for Belgian businesses in the region.
During the reception, Mr Geert Moerman, The Managing Director
of VOKA spoke about the framework that VOKA has put in place for successful entrepreneurship.
Mr. Rob Carnell, Head of Research and Chief Economist - Asia Pacific - ING Bank Singapore NV shared his valuable insights on the economic outlook of the region, giving the audience an engaging and thought-provoking presentation. Isabel Alvarez Fernandez, representing the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (BLCC Singapore), gave a warm welcome speech, reiterating the commitment of the BLCC to connect people and businesses in Singapore.
The reception was a productive time of networking with a passionate
group of Flemish entrepreneurs, business leaders, and academics.
